Facility Rentals at Sinking Spring YMCA – Gyms, Courts & Party Spaces
The Sinking Spring YMCA offers a variety of spaces perfect for sports practices, birthday parties, or community events. Choose from our gyms, pickleball courts, or tennis courts, all available at affordable hourly rates. Rentals are open to members and non-members.

$75/hourLooking for an affordable gym rental in Berks County? The Small Gym at the Sinking Spring Y is perfect for basketball, volleyball, fitness classes, or community events. The space includes two basketball hoops and plenty of open floor for other activities like pickleball practice, training, or group gatherings.

$100/hourThe Large Gym at the Sinking Spring Y offers a full-size basketball court with six hoops, making it the ideal space for games, tournaments, and practices. With room for up to 50 people, it’s also a great venue for community events, youth programs, or group fitness activities. Affordable, flexible, and available year-round.

Birthday Parties
Start at $400/membersMake your child’s big day unforgettable with a fun-filled birthday party at the Sinking Spring YMCA! Parties are held in our Kids Court area on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Each two-hour party includes access to the Play Port, rock wall, and bounce house, giving kids plenty of ways to climb, play, and celebrate. Parties can accommodate up to 40 children.

$60/hourThe Small Gym at the Reading YMCA has a vintage feel with two basketball hoops and an overhead walking/running track. It’s a cozy, versatile space that’s great for practices, fitness activities, or small group events.

Pool Lane Rental
$50/lane/hourRent one or more lanes in our heated indoor pool for swim practices, training, or other aquatic activities. Lane rentals are $50 per lane, per hour and are subject to availability.
Reading YMCA Pool Party Rentals
Make a splash at your next celebration with a pool party at the Reading YMCA. Choose a semi-private or private pool rental package, both featuring two hours of pool access and use of our viewing gallery for food, decorations, and celebrating.

Pool Party Packages
Enjoy a two-hour semi-private rental with half of the pool reserved exclusively for your party. Other swimmers may use the remaining half of the pool during your rental. This package includes:
- Two hours of pool and viewing gallery access
- Half of the pool reserved for your party
- Admission for up to 25 guests
- Additional guests: $5 per person
Enjoy a two-hour private rental with exclusive use of the full eight-lane pool and viewing gallery. VIP rentals also offer more flexible scheduling options. This package includes:
- Two hours of private pool and viewing gallery access
- Exclusive use of all eight pool lanes
- Admission for up to 40 guests
- Additional guests: $5 per person
The Viewing Gallery
Located above the pool, the viewing gallery provides a clear view of the water and a private space for your celebration. The gallery typically includes four tables and 20–30 chairs, with additional seating available upon request.
You are welcome to bring food, drinks, and decorations. All food and drinks must remain in the gallery, and confetti is not permitted.
Scheduling and Arrival
Standard pool parties are generally available Friday evenings and weekends during regular operating hours. VIP party scheduling is more flexible and based on pool and staff availability.
Party hosts may arrive up to 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up. Guests should arrive at the scheduled party start time.
Reservations and Weather
Full payment is required to secure your reservation. If severe weather requires the Aquatics Center to close, your party may be rescheduled.
