Karen, a local grandmother, shared how our Early Learning Centers provided critical support during challenging times. With safe, nurturing care, her grandchildren have grown and thrived under the guidance of our caring staff. Our programs don’t just serve children; they uplift entire families.

We’re proud to walk alongside families like Karen’s and grateful to United Way of Berks County for capturing this story.

"My boys absolutely loved their time at before and after school care at the YMCA. They made so many friends and especially loved the after-school healthy eating program. Playing in the gym and on the playground was a great way for them to get their energy out after school. All of the staff members were so kind and patient."
