Swim Team: Swim Camps
Get a head start on the competition and train with one of the best YMCA competitive aquatic programs in Pennsylvania. This program focuses on proper stroke technique and endurance for all levels of competitive swimmers. We take pride in promoting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility through the sport of swimming and look forward to developing the core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility in your children both in and out of the water.
Fees: $120 per session
Camps take place Monday through Thursday on the dates below. A maximum of 30 swimmers will be accepted into this program.
AUGUST 5-8: FREESTYLE AND BACKSTROKE START, TURN AND STROKE TECHNIQUE
AUGUST 12-15: BREASTSTROKE AND BUTTERFLY START, TURN AND STROKE TECHNIQUE
AUGUST 19-22: PRE-SEASON CONDITIONING WEEK 1
AUGUST 26-29: PRE-SEASON CONDITIONING WEEK 2
Times: ALL SWIMMERS 6:00-7:00pm
NOTE: We reserve the right to change group times or combine groups based upon number of registrations.
 Prerequisite: Registrants MUST have participated in at least one swim team season (RY or other swim team).
****Freestyle & Backstroke- Start, Turn & Stroke Technique
Week 1 Camp will focus on proper Freestyle and Backstroke start, turn and stroke technique through a variety of drills.
Swimmers will be divided into groups by age and ability level upon arrival for highest level of success.
