While Santa’s loading up on cookies, we’re running with Rudolph.

The holidays are full of treats, laughter, and cozy nights, but at the Y, we’re keeping the energy high and the motivation strong all season long. Join us for the Run, Run, Rudolph Holiday Fitness Challenge, an association-wide fitness event connecting members across every YMCA of Reading & Berks County branch.

This challenge is your ticket to staying active, accountable, and having fun between Thanksgiving and the New Year. You’ll earn points for attending classes, completing weekly challenges, and showing up for yourself, plus bonus points for extra acts of holiday spirit like joining the Turkey Burn, donating food, or tagging us on social media.

Work out with friends, compete as a team, and enjoy a season full of laughs, movement, and healthy competition, because nothing feels better than finishing the holidays stronger than you started.

Challenge Dates: Friday, November 27, 2026 – Friday, January 8, 2027

Cost: $15 (includes Challenge Card and Event T-shirt)

Registration Deadline: Dec 4, 2026

• Top Points Achiever at Each Branch
• Top Team Association-Wide

How to Earn Points:

Daily Points

• Check in 1 pt
• Attend group fitness class 1 pt (max 2/day)
• Daily challenge 2 pt
• Wear event t-shirt to gym 1 pt

Bonus Points (Limit: 2 bonus points per week)

• Attend a fitness class at another branch (1 pt)
• Donate two canned goods at the Turkey Burn (1 pt)
  • All donations will go to Reading Y Housing and Helping Harvest.
• Bring a friend who joins the Y (1 pt)
• Post a photo to social or leave a Google review (1 pt)
• Donate a children’s gift from the ornament tree (1pt)
