Designed for fun and STEAM learning, our weekly camp sessions each follow a unique theme that sparks creativity and curiosity – from superheroes and space to nature explorers and science mysteries. Care You Can Trust

All YMCA staff are trained, background-checked, and dedicated to giving your child a safe, nurturing camp experience. We focus on building confidence, encouraging friendships, and supporting each child’s unique needs. For families, we provide reliable support, open communication, and even share some pics from our trips on the Class Dojo app.

Camp Details

Ages: 6-12 [Children who have completed kindergarten through age 12]

Locations: All five branches of YMCA of Reading & Berks County run full-day camps:

• Adamstown
• Mifflin
• Reading
• Sinking Spring
• Tri Valley

Dates: June 8 – August 21, 2026  |  Monday – Friday 

Hours: Full Day 8 AM – 4 PM

• Add-on for Before/After Camp Hours: learn more about Wrap Around Care add-on programs and associated costs for summer camp families to have AM Wrap Around Care for early drop-off (6:30 – 8 AM) and/or PM Wrap Around Care for a later pick-up time between (4- 5:30 PM).

The weeks fill up fast so secure your spot today! Here’s how to register:

1. Scroll down to the registration section and choose the Y branch your child will attend.
2. View and select the weeks (session dates) you want to secure. You can plan around vacation so you’re not paying extra. You can also change your weeks if needed (if you follow the outlined steps in the Camp Handbook), but remember it is first-come, first-served.
3. Register your camper for a summer full of adventure, growth, and lifelong memories.
4. Remember to complete all paperwork and payments on time to stay eligible!

Eligibility

To be compliant with the Department of Human Services (DHS), we must meet these following requirements in order to process and accept camp registration:

• Age: Only children who have completed kindergarten can register for summer camp
• Forms/Paperwork: All forms in the Camp Handbook -Required Forms Section must be fully completed and returned at least one business day before your child attends, ensuring we have the proper staff ratio for the number of children. If there are incomplete sections or pages, we cannot accept your registration until completed, which can delay your child’s start date.

Once these requirements are met, we’ll see you at check-in when you drop them off for the first day!

Camp Costs

Cost for One-time Registration

The earlier you register, the more you save on the one-time seasonal registration fee. Each month the fee incrementally increases by $10/month.
