Summer Day Camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. Children have the opportunity to create new memories and friendships, explore nature, and gain independence all while trying new, fun activities!

CAMP GOALS
- To provide a memorable, educational, enjoyable, and enriching experience for youth.
- To help children grow mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually.
- To help children develop good character.
- To help children gain an appreciation of nature.
- To help our staff develop and refine leadership skills.
CLARIFICATION OF GOALS
The above goals align with the goal of the YMCA: to help people reach their full potential in spirit, mind, and body. We teach children to develop and maintain physical fitness, to grow in faith, and to interact with others in a healthy manner. In addition, everyone in our camp exemplifies good character through positive interactions. We define good character as exhibiting a caring, honest, respectful, and responsible attitude.
Through our daily programs, the YMCA creates a positive experience for each child. At our camps, children learn to develop a strong rapport with their counselors and their peers. Our programs create enriching experiences that a child will remember for a lifetime.

**Preference will be given to full time (5 day) registrants. **
Early Bird Registration Fee (until April 30th): $80.00 per child
Regular Registration (after April 30th): $110.00 per child
NEW FOR 2022- Due to the current shortage of staff, we are asking that families register for every week they plan to utilize for the entire summer at the time of initial registration. We understand that plans can change, but attendance for any given week MUST be confirmed and that week MUST be paid for two Fridays prior to the start of the week attending, known as the attendance & payment deadline. Payments made after this deadline will be subject to a $10 late fee, per child, per week.
EXAMPLE: If your child is attending the week of July 18th, payment is due for that week on July 8th (attendance & payment deadline).
Changes made after the attendance and payment deadline must be requested in writing to the camp director. Children who do not attend the confirmed week, if notified after the deadline, will not receive a refund for the absent week. Additional days added to an already confirmed schedule are NOT guaranteed to be honored, if notified after the deadline. Of course, we will do our best to accommodate unexpected situations such as illness or family emergency, at the camp director’s digression. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
