Looking for a camp that keeps kids active, engaged, and off their screens? YMCA Summer Day Camp offers full-day fun with a purpose. Whether your child is a first-time camper or a seasoned pro, they’ll experience a summer packed with excitement, friendships, and unforgettable moments.
A New Adventure Every Week- Weekly Themes, Field Trips & Pool Days
No two weeks are the same! Each camp session follows a unique theme that sparks creativity and curiosity, from superheroes and space to nature explorers and science mysteries. Campers enjoy weekly field trips and pool days, giving them something to look forward to every single week.

All YMCA staff are trained, background-checked, and dedicated to giving your child a safe, nurturing camp experience. We focus on building confidence, encouraging friendships, and supporting each child’s unique needs.
Camp Details
Our Camp Program runs June 8 – August 21, 2026 at all branches of the YMCA of Reading & Berks County for children who have completed kindergarten through age 12. Enrollment Opens 11/28/2025.

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8 AM – 4 PM

Eligibility:
All paperwork must be completed and returned at least one day before your child attends. If there are any incomplete sections/pages, we cannot accept your registration and may delay your child’s start date. We will accept registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Your child must have completed kindergarten to be eligible to register for summer camp in accordance with the Department of Human Services (DHS).
Registration Cost
The earlier you register, the more you save on the one-time seasonal registration fee. Beginning on November 28, 2025 on our one-day Black Friday Special, registration is $40/child. The fee will incrementally increase by $10/month
