Swim Team: Fall/Winter Season

Get a head start on the competition and train with one of the best YMCA competitive aquatic programs in Pennsylvania. This program focuses on proper stroke technique and endurance for all levels of competitive swimmers. We take pride in promoting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility through the sport of swimming and look forward to developing the core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility in your children both in and out of the water.

All swimmers must pay a $150.00 registration fee (nonrefundable: included in returning member fee).

Registration dates:

Returning Swimmers- May 1, 2023

New Swimmers- August 8, 2023

Season Start Date: September 11, 2023

Back again! You now have the ability to upgrade your swimmer’s membership to include the whole family! For just $35.00 per month, add the rest of your household onto the Y membership.

  • This promotion is for a basic Y membership only. Families may pay $48 ($35+$13 Health Club charge) per month for Health Club access.
  • This promotion includes access to all five of our YMCA branches and allows members to utilize participating Y’s across the nation.
  • This promotion is billed monthly on the 1st of each month September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024.
  • This promotion will be billed to the primary payment method on your YMCA online account.
  • This promotion ends August 31, 2024 and will be automatically terminated.
  • Families who elect this membership upgrade should add all family members to their YMCA online account at the time of swim team season registration.
  • Members may cancel at any time by notifying BJ Folk at [email protected].

This group is designed for all swimmers ages 8 and under and first-time swimmers, regardless of age.

Fees:

Returning Swimmers-$560 for the season

New Swimmers-$620 for the season

When you register online you will have the option to pay in full or pay over 5 installments. Installments will be billed the first of September, October, November, December and January. The monthly installment is the total less the initial $150 non-refundable portion of the registration fee for swimmers.

Practice Information:

Monday-Thursday from 5:00pm-6:00pm

SWIMMERS MAY ATTEND A MAX OF 3 DAYS PER WEEK.

This group is designed for swimmers ages 12 and under and/or swimmers in need of proper stroke technique in each of the four competitive strokes, as well as dive and turn instruction.

Fees:

Returning Swimmers-$700 for the season

New Swimmers-$760 for the season

Monday-Friday from 5:00pm-6:00pm

This group is designed for swimmers ages 11 and over who have strong stroke technique and the ability to lap swim a minimum of 3,500 yards.

Fees:

Returning Swimmers-$800 for the season

New Swimmers-$860 for the season

This group is designed for swimmers ages 14 and over who are able to lap swim a minimum of 5,000 yards with excellent stroke and turn technique.

This group is designed for Gold level swimmers who practice with their high school swim program November-March. These swimmers may only attend a maximum of two practices per week during the high school swimming season.
