Looking for a camp that keeps kids active, engaged, and off their screens? YMCA Summer Day Camp offers full-day fun with a purpose. Whether your child is a first-time camper or a seasoned pro, they’ll experience a summer packed with excitement, friendships, and unforgettable moments.
A New Adventure Every Week- Weekly Themes, Field Trips & Pool Days
No two weeks are the same! Each camp session follows a unique theme that sparks creativity and curiosity, from superheroes and space to nature explorers and science mysteries. Campers enjoy weekly field trips and pool days, giving them something to look forward to every single week.
What Camp Looks Like: Hands-On Learning + Outdoor Play = Summer Magic
Every day at YMCA Summer Day Camp includes:

All YMCA staff are trained, background-checked, and dedicated to giving your child a safe, nurturing camp experience. We focus on building confidence, encouraging friendships, and supporting each child’s unique needs.
Wrap-Around Care AM/PM is an additional option available for most locations for mornings and evenings to support your family’s schedule.

Camp is in session and runs through August 22, 2025 at all branches of the YMCA of Reading & Berks County for children entering kindergarten through age 12:

Registration Fee: $120
Full Time Rate (5 days from 8 AM – 4 PM)
Member: $206/week | Non-Member: $229/week
Daily Rate (8 AM – 4 PM)
Member: $57/day | Non-Member: $69/day
Late Payment Fee: $10/week | Late Pick-Up Fee: $1/minute late

Register online or by completing all paperwork in the 2025 Summer Camp Catalog parent packet and emailing it directly to Ashley Price at [email protected] or mailing it to our facility.
Eligibility: All paperwork must be completed and returned at least one day before your child attends. If there are any incomplete sections/pages, we cannot accept your registration and may delay your child’s start date. We will accept registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Your child must have completed kindergarten to be eligible to register for summer camp in accordance with the Department of Human Services (DHS).
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM
Need extended hours? We’ve got you covered. Families can register for optional Summer Camp Wrap-Around Care in the AM or PM tabs. Each session is an additional cost.
