Breakfast of Champions is officially moving back to a spring celebration. To give our partners, sponsors, and storytellers the spotlight they deserve, this signature event will now take place on May 12, 2026. We’re excited for a fresh season, a fuller room, and even more inspiring youth stories to share with our community.

New Year Specials to Kickstart Your 2026 Goals
There is no better time to jump back into the Y. From November 28 through January 31, new and returning members can join for zero dollars down. It’s the perfect chance to start fresh, reconnect with your wellness routine, or invite a friend to finally join you. Membership includes group fitness, pools, child care options, and so much more designed to help your whole family thrive.
Help your child gain confidence in the water while saving a little extra. When you purchase any set of group swim lessons between November 28 and January 31, you’ll receive ten dollars off the session fee. Winter is the perfect time to build new skills and get ready for a strong, splash-filled summer.

Our fitness centers, group classes, and supportive Y community make sticking to your resolutions easier. Looking for a challenge that keeps you motivated all year? Take the plunge and see how far you can swim in 2026. Doggy paddle twice a week or freestyle every morning. It all counts. Track your miles during open lap swim and push yourself toward the incredible goal of 100 miles.

Kick off the holiday season with a cheerful morning filled with games, light snacks, and festive fun. Bring a treat to share, slip on your favorite ugly sweater, and enjoy time with friends in our welcoming community space. Join us for a sweet seasonal gathering at Sinking Spring Y. Our Senior Cookie Soirée is all about community, conversation, and enjoying a delicious assortment of cookies together.
Tri Valley Y: Dec 19 | 11:45 AM – 1:30 PM
Celebrate the season at our cozy winter gathering. Bring a dish for the potluck, enjoy easygoing games, and take part in a lighthearted gift exchange. Whether you join for the food, the conversation, or the laughter, you’ll leave with that warm community feeling the Y is known for.
Sports Highlights and Winter Play Opportunities
Serve up a fun winter evening on the courts. Enjoy snacks, exclusive registration discounts, and a preview of upcoming racquet sports programs running January through March. Meet our coaches, connect with fellow players, and take advantage of open play time while you’re here. Perfect for staying active and leveling up your game.

Holiday Hours
Christmas: All branches of the YMCA of Reading & Berks County will close at 3 PM on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day.
New Year’s Eve: All branches will close at 3 PM on New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Day: Adamstown YMCA, Mifflin YMCA, Reading YMCA, and Tri Valley YMCA will be closed. Sinking Spring YMCA will be open 6-11 AM. No group fitness classes. Child Watch will be closed.
